【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverspolypropylenematerialssuitableforinjectionmoldingandextrusion.Polymersconsistofhomopolymer,copolymers,andelastomercompoundedwithorwithouttheadditionofimpactmodifiers(ethylene-propylenerubber,polyisobutylenerubber,andbutylrubber),colorants,stabilizers,lubricants,orreinforcements.1.2Thisspecificationallowsfortheuseofthosepolypropylenematerialsthatcanberecycled,reconstituted,andreground,providedthat:(1)therequirementsasstatedinthisspecificationaremet,and(2)thematerialhasnotbeenmodifiedinanywaytoalteritsconformancetofoodcontactregulationsorsimilarrequirements.Theproportionsofrecycled,reconstituted,andregroundmaterialused,aswellasthenatureandtheamountofanycontaminant,cannotbepracticallycoveredinthisspecification.Itistheresponsibilityofthesupplierandthebuyerofrecycled,reconstituted,andregroundmaterialstoensurecompliance.(SeeGuideD7209.)1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.NOTE1—Thepropertiesincludedinthisspecificationarethoserequiredtoidentifythecompositionscovered.Theremaybeotherrequirementsnecessarytoidentifyparticularcharacteristicsimportanttospecificapplications.ThesewillbedesignatedbyusingthesuffixesgiveninSection1.1.4Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section13,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.NOTE2—ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOstandard.
