【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesultrasonicacceptancelevels2and3forfullpenetrationweldedjointsinferriticsteels,whichcorrespondtoISO5817qualitylevelsBandC.AnacceptancelevelcorrespondingtoISO5817qualitylevelDisnotincludedinthisInternationalStandardasultrasonictestingisgenerallynotrequestedforthisweldquality.TheseacceptancelevelsareapplicabletotestingcarriedoutinaccordancewithISO17640.ThisInternationalStandardappliestotheexaminationoffullpenetrationferriticsteelwelds,withthicknessesfrom8mmto100mm.Itcanalsobeusedforothertypesofwelds,materialsandthicknessesabove100mm,providedtheexaminationshavebeenperformedwithnecessaryconsiderationofthegeometryandacousticpropertiesofthecomponent,andanadequatesensitivitycanbeemployedtoenabletheacceptancelevelsofthisInternationalStandardtobeapplied.ThenominalfrequencyofprobesusedinthisInternationalStandardisbetween2MHzand5MHzunlessattenuationorrequirementsforhigherresolutioncallforotherfrequencies.Theuseoftheseacceptancelevelsinconjunctionwithfrequenciesoutsidethisrangeneedstobeconsideredcarefully.

【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardgivesrecommendationsandguidanceforthepreservativetreatmentoftimbertoprovideprotectionagainstbiodeteriorationincertainspecifiedend-usesituationsintheUnitedKingdom.Itrecommendslevelsofpenetrationandretentionofpreservative,fromtheclassesdefinedinBSEN351-1,fordifferenttimbercomponentsandtakesintoaccountthenaturaldurabilityandtreatabilityofthetimberemployed,thebiologicalhazardclassandthedesiredservicelife.Italsoprovidesguidanceonestablishingwhetheraspecifiedleveloftreatmenthasbeenachieved.ThisBritishStandardappliesonlytosolidwood,includinggluedlaminatedtimber.Itdoesnotapplytopanelproducts,asnoEuropeanStandardshavebeenpublishedonthepreservationoftheseproducts.ThisBritishStandarddoesnotapplytotreatmentsregardedasremedialinnatureortothoseprimarilydesignedtoinfluencetheperformanceoftimberinfire.NOTEIntheUnitedKingdom,onlypreservativesapprovedundertheControlofPesticidesRegulations1986[2]arepermittedforthetreatmentoftimber.
