【摘要】:ThisTechnicalSpecificationpresentsacodeofpracticedealingwithpolyethylene(PE)pipesandfittingsforburiedpipelinesystemsoutsidebuildingsanddesignedtodistributegaseousfuelswithinthetemperaturerange-20℃to+40℃andgivesappropriatetemperature-relatedrequirements.Thecodeofpracticecoversmainsandservicelineswhosecomponentsarepreparedforjointingbyscrapingand/ormachining,andgivesinstructionsforthedesign,storage,handling,transportation,layingconditionsandfusionqualitycontrolofPEpipesandfittingsuptoandincluding630mmoutsidediameter,aswellassubsequentjointtesting,backfilling,pipesystemtesting,commissioninganddecommissioning.ThejointingmethodscoveredbythisTechnicalSpecificationareheated-toolfusionjointing(butt,socketandsaddlefusion),electrofusionjointingandmechanicaljointing.Nospecialprecautionsarenecessaryforareasexposedtotheinfluenceofminingandearthquakesotherthanthoseprecautionsmentionedinthiscodeofpractice.ExistingandnewnationalregulationstakeprecedenceoverthisTechnicalSpecification.
